Dog
Placemats
If you have a dog inside your home in its
dog pen, then you know how
hard it can be to keep messes from arising. It might seem like it is impossible to keep stuff
off of the floor when you have a pet in the house.
Either he is spilling water or food from his bowl,
peeing on the floor, drooling, or a combination of all three! Well, if these incidents are getting
you down about your favorite canine or feline, don’t worry. There is a way to help, and dog
placemats are perfect for this job!

A dog placemat is a sort of rug that goes wherever these trouble spots
happen most often. In other words, if your dog usually has trouble keeping his food in the bowl, put a dog
place mat underneath his food dish! If he sloshes water the same way, try to put a mat underneath that as
well. If he has trouble peeing in front of the door when you forgot to unlock the doggie door, have a dog
place mat there to help keep accidents on the rug and off of your clean floor!
Pet placemats are great for keeping order and cleanliness the
number one priorities in your home, but there are some considerations to take into account.
The biggest consideration when buying a pet placemat is to
contemplate how big your dog is. This is important because the size of your dog will determine how big your dog
place mat should be. Needless to say, if you have a Chihuahua, you will need a much smaller mat than you would if
you had a St. Bernard! This is because, when a dog is big, his food bowl is big too. But when a dog is tiny, he
only requires a tiny food bowl…so, you can buy a tiny pet placemat.

Buying the right sized place mat is important for a few reasons. First, buying one that is too
big is a waste of money. But, buying one that is too small will be ineffective. So, make sure you take your dog’s
size into account before you purchase your new dog placemats.
These pet placemats are usually not too expensive, but like I said
before, buying the right size will save you some money. Buying a bigger place mat is certainly more expensive than
buying a smaller one, even if it does not cost a ton. Keeping things simple will also keep the price on the ground.
For example, does your dog really need a dog placemat that has your favorite sports team on it? If he does, then go
for it. But if you can do with a more simple design, you might save a few bucks.
Mostly, just keep in mind what the dog placemats will be used for,
and buy according to what you need. Figuring out beforehand what you need the mat to do will help to keep things in
perspective. This will really help you pick out the best one, and can help you avoid the wrong choice for your cat
or dog.
